Early rattus #11

Lots of traffic as of late! Most of the PB has been eaten before 9pm and all gone by morning. Up went the doorbell cam and with the Rapid ready the push notification came @ 8:30...loaded a 18gr pill and placed it on the y-yoke, turned on the scopes IR, looked thru scope and saw this juvenile rattus eating broadside. It’s head was moving around at this angle so I placed the dot on its heart and slowly let the pill fly...thwack...just crumbled onto the stations platform. I know there is at least one more larger one, just a matter of time!

I built a rat station, but all i got were racoons and skunks, so i dont use it anymore.

Nice shooting! I need to install the ir camera on one of my guns too, a couple of martens have been devestating the chicken population.

Great shot Randall!  Good to hear traffic is up at your place!  It's been slim pickings here, but then it's also been in the 90's everyday, so I can't really blame them for seeking shelter!

I built a rat station, but all i got were racoons and skunks, so i dont use it anymore.

Carl, thank you very much! LOL....I live in the city and my station attracts rats, possums and an occasional coon just like you but no skunks! Thank goodness! I do have my stations platform almost 5ft high.

Paul! Thank you so much! That’s pretty warm and I’d bet the humidity is high too in Fl.....I’d opt to stay in the shadows too if I were a creature. But, it will cool down sooner or later!

Nice shot Randall!  You probably got its parents already if the young ones are coming out.  I 'd say you 've put the hurting in the rattus population.  I hope not, because it's fun shooting than running out of them

Harry! Thank you so much kind sir! I may have got the parents but they keep coming! Just got another big boy and as I was typing this the chime went off and another one nibbled at the PB!
