Crosman 2240XL Pistol

I never expected Fedex on a Saturday. Can't remember them ever making deliveries on the weekend before. [/size]I mounted up the Hawke 1x20 red dot and set out the target at 8 yards. I started at 10 meters but was not hitting the target. After two quick windage adjustments. I set to shooting (4) 5-shot groups. Pretty good all on all for such a rush job. I have not even cleaned the barrel.I'll give it a good looking over and update. But from first glance and being packed in an actual box and Not those stupid clamshells, well it's already off to a good start.

Just a few new things..... like- Stainless Screws- Disco Power Adjuster- KevinP Bolt Handle (for my wife)That's it.... Really..... I mean it.... Yes, really. I took it all apart and cleaned it up. The barrel contained your typical factory grunge. All clean now. I have not done anything at all to the trigger. There is no creep or herky jerky, so other than maybe adding a shoe, this is how it will sit. BTW: The muzzle brake adapter is pretty nice. Made of blued steel with a nice cover over the 1/2"-20 threads. I won't be adding anything up there but that option does exist and Crosman got it right this time from my perspective at least. A good deal for 100 bucks plus 10 more for shipping to the house. Yep, we've been asking for years and years for this 2240. Now we have it. Let's see if they stick around for a while. Hope they do.

Sweet!  Seven weeks ago my 2240XL looked just like yours.  Here it is today next to a Umarex/Walther P 38.  Type A personalities just can't leave stuff alone.
