For anyone who is unaware of how to do this....

From time to time, I see complaints from members about various gates on the forum. Generally, it's the Back Room, because a wide variety of subjects tend to be discussed, and some are apparently offended by this.

So......I don't know who all is aware of this, but you can "turn off" any section that you want, so that you won't see when and if there is any activity in that section or gate. I do this with a couple of forums that I rarely frequent, just to try to condense the size of my main page when I view it.

To do this, just go to the main page where all the gates are listed. On the right side of the page, with each gate section, you will see a little square symbol with a plus (+) or minus (-) sign. All you need to do is click on that plus or minus sign to change it. If there is a plus sign there, it closes off that section from view. You can re-open it at any time.

That is useful if one wants to make navigation of this forum quicker.  A while back, I did 'hide' some of the gates I seldom/never use.  It helped.

It IS a nice feature. You can condense your main page to include only the gates and topics you are interested in.
