I have a big garage with an attached studio/workshop space and am shooting diagonally through the door from that room. Full blast is just abusive in that space... fun for a few rounds but kind of absurd. Now, with the small top hat it feels like a different gun. Like a nicely souped-up pistol just a little over the top - quiet, pellet-exploding but not neighbor-panicking, and is super satisfying. And I hate being stuck in the garage, hate the suburbs altogether honestly but here I am. Give me deep country or inner city, but in some ways the places where they meet just kind of have the worst of both worlds. City life restrictions without all of the crazy entertainment and international stuff that makes cities like a forest to explore... and you still have to drive everywhere, but you are hemmed in by neighbors and technically probably shouldn’t even shoot air guns at all... ok, rant ending. I have got to get out.

I did well in Science and Physics... But algebra kicked my butt. Got a "D". A problem with two Un-knowns is STILL Greek to me 40 years later. In my mind it simply can not be fathomed.
If you have a 3D printer you can print several great ones for almost nothing.
In a weird way your brain is doing it any time you try to solve a problem with more than one possible cause and you try to control all the causes and change one at a time to narrow it down

In a weird way your brain is doing it any time you try to solve a problem with more than one possible cause and you try to control all the causes and change one at a time to narrow it down. It’s usually taught the wrong way (I know because I teach math and have taught it the wrong way for many years but I am starting to get better). Still trying to figure out the best way to teach it but I think algebra is overly mystified by crappy explanations. As for the two unknowns, you are right that it is different - you have to think of the whole idea of what a solution is in a different way.
