i like the sumatra .22 and maruder .22 however i also like the prod but the tatical look with the tippman butt stock and shroud extender with bipod and the marauder with the terryx stock ...its for plinking,punching paper ,hunting as well however it would be three months to decide while i save ...what is your take ...another question is if i want a .22 barrel 24 inch on my condor what else do i need to change or should i just get a talon ss.22 ? come on guys im on a roll right now it need asssistance ,accuratecy is first then power looks are not that important as long as the shouldering is excellent im good ...thanks gentleman ...Gene i love your discovery any chance for me to inherit it ... lol...jorge

George, let me introduce you to a few of my little friends: Enter, comma, and Shift keys. If you're not so lazy with punctuation, making the post hard to read, then folks won't be so lazy with replies.

The Prod is just a pistol in the end, even if it is all tactified. Is 700 fps going to be enough? I'd go Marauder for the same money. More of your moeny goes to performance, less bling. So unless you need to smuggle the gun in and out of the woods, the Marauder is the clear winner.

For the second question, I don't know, but the SS .22 is going to be a lot quieter. Other than that, you're just duplicating hardware.

lol...yeah i was in the middle of work and was trying to type quick before boss came in ,sorry...im so hyped and the darkside is so impressive that im making arrangements "financialy" so i could get another however my chioces will slim down as i really dont need much power having a condor .25 ...im really looking at a marauder pistol cause of its performance and accuratecy at fps like those given ...its nice taken something light ,accurate and powerful enough to take small game in the woods i go into ...the prod is something i could carry on my shoulder comfortably without having to spook a critter especially a guppy tank on my belt for extra shots if needed....the sumtra or marauder is something i,ll use in open field like my condor but for now my use will be limited to 40yds and the prod will do a good job at eliminating my kill ...thanks for your response Smaug...jorge...

I have a disco,marauder and p-rod in 22 so heres my take. If you drill the port to 1/8 and shoot 14 grn pellets mid 800's are doable and the prod is my favorite. At least for now, waiting on a pacific pelley guns 25 cal marauder carbine with collapseable stock,just like my prod. but for one gun go for the prod for up to 50 yards-woody
