Could a Fortitude regulator be fitted to a P-Rod?

Would you need a custom hammer or gauge block or both?
I know one of the reasons my fortitude is so accurate is the reg. Would be cool to keep it all Crosman.

Yes, it will fit and work in the Prod.   For a plenum, you can use a piece of aluminum tube for spacer between gauge block and reg, but would need to drill vent hole in the Prod air tube.   IMO, it would be better to buy the Huma plenum, that has seals on both ends, such that you can vent out the gauge hole.  You could use it with or without the Prod gauge block.



The smaller plenum in the picture is the Huma Prod one, the larger, the huma disco one.  If you are going for higher power, you would want disco one.  AFAIK, you can only buy the plenums separately, direct from Huma.

That is the Huma plenums with the Fortitude regulator in my 25 cal Fortitude. 

If you were looking for a lower power tune, I think the two O-rings on the reg would span the gauge hole.  Might be able to use the existing spacer between valve and gauge block.

 IMO unless you are looking for a low power plinker, is to go with a regulated bottle, then there is enough air onboard for extended shot count.
