I would like to convert my Diana chaser pistol/rifle 22cal to HPA this is my first tinker project with this type of setup. I found a conversation kit thru Alliance hobby from $69-$150+ but before I go and spend does anyone have any input or different opinions on this. Ideally I would like to get more power out of this very nice clean and light weight setup but still maintain pinpoint accuracy. I know I could just go and buy a PCP but wheres the fun in that. I have time to tinker and looking for a rabbit hole. Thanks

If you like to tinker, a dummy CO2 cylinder would be a good, inexpensive starting point. Align the port along the bottom and drill the tube so you can access that port. This gives you the ability to feed HPA or bulk CO2 to the gun through that port in any way that you choose. You can also go back to CO2 cylinders at any time with that arrangement.
Potential power is somewhat limited with this arrangement, but I got 18 fpe out of a Crosman 2240 set up in a similar fashion with very limited knowledge and tools 18 years ago.
Is that a gar in your avatar? The rivers are all flooded around here and I've got fishing fever bad.

I use a setup similar to this with a 850 psi regulated hpa tank. It works great.

It looks like the same kit Alliance sells. Mine isn't exactly like this, but it's the same idea.

I built an extended back half of the valve that I plumbed up to an asa on/off and a 13ci bottle with the reg set to 1500 psi. It’s shooting h&n barracudas at 790-800 FPS. I’m tuning it with a bandit hammer spring and playing with transfer port. It’s definitely a fun gun to play with. I hate too say it but it’s a better designed LEGO gun. I wish parts support was easier and better but I’m enjoying learning with my mini lathe. Good luck and be safe in your modding adventure.
