This is a "Complete review" on the Gamo Swarm Magnum .22 caliber from my YouTube Channel, "Airgun Detectives.”. Airgun Detectives is not currently sponsored by any company or organization. I film, direct, edit and produce these vides on my own for entertainment. This is a learning curve so please be patient. I provide my 100% unbiased review of my personal collection of airguns, which exceed over 200 pieces. I have everything from rifles, pistols, Co2, Break-Barrel, under-level, PCP etc. I recently retired from 30 years of Law Enforcement and I hope to share my formal firearms experience with the airgun community and our members here at GTA.
I hope you enjoy them,
JC

Very good review John.
27 Ft. Lbs of energy..... 10 shot repeater...7 pound carry weight (plus the scope)... ..it looks like a it would be a great hunting rifle to me.
Best Wishes - Tom

Tom,
I couldn't agree more...it is a great little package and I have seen it on sale for barely over $200.
Thanks for watching!

Not too long after I got my Magnum, the Swarm Maxxim came out. Then I started thinking: "why didn't they do something like this for the Magnum?". Several months later, the Swarm Magnum came out and I've been eyeing it since.
My Magnum is now a little wonky. I wonder if it's time to start looking a little harder at one of these. It'd make one
HECK
of a pest hammer.
No small game out here aside from pigeons, but we do have rats. I'd imagine it'd be most effective.

I don't think you can go wrong. Just wait for a sale. They do go on sale often. Hope all is well in Guam!

Another great video. What would you choose if you could only have this or a 125 Sniper, in any caliber?

That is a tough question...The rifles are so different. The Gamo is lighter, gives you a 10 round Mag, and has a really good trigger once you drop in the $5.00 screw. But it is a 50 pound cocking effort. The Hatsan 125 Snipers are all outstanding as well. You put a $3.00 spring in the trigger and you cut the pull weight in half. My suggestion is you purchase one, after you find it on sale. Then on your Birthday, Christmas or anytime, because life is short, you purchase the other to add to your collection. I have every caliber in the 125 model and would lean towards the .25 caliber. Although, I would have to say the most fascinating is the 135 .30 caliber. To shoot that large of a pellet in a breakbarrel is so much fun! I don't think you can make a bad decision on any of your choices.
