Train NP cocking arm broken HELP

I have about 4000-5000 pellets though it this last 6 months and its been my favorite.it made a weird sound today and upon tking it out of the stock i noticed the coking arm rubbing the stock.When i cocked it out of the stock the longer arm parrllel to the action lifts up(and away) and wont cock the gun.its very loose where it attaches/hooks to the piston.

anyone else have this happen?

Thats because when it is in the stock, the stock keeps the cocking arm against the receiver.
You are applying a force to the cocking arm, the force will take the easiest way out, that is to push the arm away from the receiver.
It is not a wise practise to cock the gun out of the receiver, even though it is possible, if the piston ever failed and the barrel released, your fingers would be most likely amputated, from the cocking arm.

If it is making a weird sound when cocking and you suspect the cocking arm, make certain the roller guide is lubed and the plastic spacer is still on the arm. It looks like this [ , it will be in the long part of the arm and where it makes contact with the receiver.

Plastic roller is there and lubed.its about twice as wobbly a my neighbors I just took apart and checked.I didn't actually cock the guns I just broke the barrel to see what was up.BTW his doesn't lift away from the reciever when the barrel is broken.


 what is making the what is making the arm push off to one side and bind up when in the stock and tightened properly?

That sounds like the rivet has popped, on the fork, that holds the long part of the cocking arm. The fork piece is the part connected to the barrel, then it forks over the sides of the long cocking arm, and is riveted in place.

Uncertain how to fix that

The loosening is mainly at the location where it attaches to the piston.
