Nice shooting Tom. I have owned two Hatsan 125 rifles and they will put a wallop on small game, while you get your exercise carying that "built like a tank" airgun through the woods.

Yes... this gun is built like a tank. 
I really don't mind the carry weight.
This rifle hunts real well and that is what is important to me.
This rifle put a real wallop on those two squirrels !

I also have a 22 cal. Walther Talon Falcon Magnum ( Hatsan 125)
It delivers a wallop too !

Good shooting Tom. Wow, that 25 cal. Sure opens a hole on them. Any decently hit squirrel won’t be going far hit with one of those.

Yup..that  25 cal. Hatsan 125 really puts the... "Big Hurt"... on the squirrels.

It really gives them a wallop when it hits them with a 27.8 grain pellet.

I’ve been on a couple late afternoon hunts so far, but it’s been too hot for the most part.
It’s finally cooling off a bit now... now if I can get this work load of mine leveled out a bit i’ll get back after them!

Hi Buddy

I'm Glad that you could get out and do some hunting even though it is hot in Mississippi. 
I have not seen anything above 60 F since August.
Today's forecast for my area is 42 F and overcast with light 5 mph wind.
It is supposed to get down to 31F tonight and 28F tomorrow night.
It won't be too long until... Winter is here. 
We have been getting a lot of rain this year so I suspect that we will get a lot of snow too.

Reverse mohawk it was.......Both of those squirrels really got hammered.    That 125 Hatsan has got a lot of Smack.

The Black Squirrels are actually just a Black Melanistic Phase of a Gray Squirrel.

They taste the same as a Gray Squirrel too.

I got Real Lucky with that squirrel.  I usually do not get a second shot.

Especially so.... with a single shot break barrel rifle.

Sometimes the "Whistle Trick" works.....and sometimes it don't.
