Trail tune trigger group question

So my action is in the spring (i.e. gasram) compressor.

I compress just enough to free up and remove the so-called "fixed pin" that keeps the innards from spurting out.

Now about the trigger group?

The trigger group has to be removed now, right?

I see that the trigger group housing has to slide back and then out of the slot in the compression tube...but the sear wont let it.

Does the group come off in one lump?
If so, do I apply more compression to free it up OR do I let off on the compression to free it up?

OR

If the trigger group does not separate as a whole, then do I just pull the pin that the sear pivots on?
