.20 cal being wickedly accurate and capable with current pellets of producing 35/40 ft lbs which for a "Pellet gun" is really in the sweet spot.

Depends on what I'm doing ! Don't really care for .177 'cause I drop them too much lol. Usually .22 covers plinking and hunting. Recently got a .25 though so will be hunting with it, very little plinking as I have to hand pump lol.

I shoot mostly .22 myself but I do have plenty of .177 & .25's that I like shooting as well. I recently had to purchase some .177 JSB wad cutters for my .177's however for the .22's and .25's I cast my own.

I shoot .22 cal pellets the most, because I don't need more power for most of my shooting.... However, my favourite caliber is .257 shooting slugs....

I shoot targets only, so I like .177.
My fingers still work good enough to load them.
When my fingers get too stiff, I will go to .22.

Mostly I have shot with the .223 or 20mm this season. Last season it was .457 and .357
I still probably like the .357 best.

.20 like Scott said, for 50 yards and in. Over 50, then it would be the .22.

For me .22 I have 4 .22 2 .177 and 1 .25. I have 2 molds for .22 so that really makes it easy to like and those molds drop very consistent to JSB in the same grain. I also have a .25 wadcutter mold but I wont detune anytime soon for them as its hunting season. So for me its .22 its the jack of all trades but master of none in my book.

My gut said .22, then I went over my lists of rifles and pistols and found out if I go by what I own it is 50-50. I started out with .20 or .22 only then a few .177 and 3 -.25's. Somewhere along the line I was attracted to replicas which made things even up between .177 and .22 though.
