I was thinking about getting a Marauder in .25 and I noticed that Talon Tunes now makes a tuned Marauder in .25. For $675US, you get a .25 mrod, tuned trigger to 1.5 lb, black poly-coated stock(similar as Crea-kote) depinger, and extended barrel/baffle end. On top of that he offers an extended air resevoir for another $129... which adds up to over $800 for a fully customized Mrod... BTW, the air res extender adds at least 10 more high power shots per fill.
So I ask, is it worth it? I really want a Mrod in .25. I know the stock rifle is pretty dam accurate and a great rifle to get, bt I am not sure if spend another $300+ more for a tuned gun is worth it... Thoughts please.... Happy airgunning everyone.

Well what you are going to get is a rifle tuned for power. If that is what you want you may sacrifice some shots that you would get if it were stock. That being said, you will definitely know that it will preform well when you get it. I have never heard a bad thing about Talon tunes. Alot of there stuff looks very intriguing and I say go for it and report back here

I agree, Talon Tunes does outstanding work. I know it's easy for me to spend your money
but if I had the extra $ to spend I'd order the rifle from T/T.

I feel your dillema as I've been looking at the same product you are looking a all day!t. Its a steep upgrade but I may pull the trigger on it if I can reallocate some funds. Keep us informed.. I haven't heard anything bad about talon tunes so if I buy it ill be confident I'm getting something awesome.

I wish I were in your position. I'd go for it. I've kinda been secretly drooling over a hotrod M-rod myself.

I pulled the trigger and ordered a fully rigged out TT Marauder in .25, Hawke scope, Harris Bipod, extended air tube, extended shroud with additional baffles, etc.
I await it with eagerness.
