I shot a Disco .22 for a while on COČ. It shoots more slowly. It's not so easy to get a full fill on COČ. The reservoir really should be cold before filling. I used a soft cold pack from my freezer to wrap around the tube.
If I had it to do all over again, I wouldn't bother with it or spent the money for the fill kit. YMMV
What's way more effective is my 177 Hammerli 850. It's spoiled me for any other COČ gun I think.

Just haven't run that many .177's on co2.
Do tend to try all the PCP'swith co2 (including the ones were it is "verboten"), but just haven't tried all that many .177's...and no Discos.
Dug up some old comparsions with weaker powered .177's that might be helpful, but haven't got any numbers for a tuned up to higher power .177 on co2.
Havwe done some testes with lower powered .177 PCP's (actually adjusted to be low powered on air),but mostly .22's and 5mm's got the co2 tests.
Do think the Disco/Maxi is in the area where it might be a useful power.
So far, the lower pressure .22 PCPs tried (those running around 2K) with co2 have lost less power on co2 than the ones running around 3K. The 3K PCP's made more power on co2, but used a good bit more gas (and often spayed fog or flakes of co2 snow with a shot).
With one really low pressure .22 PCP (made for 1500psi max. pressure), when tuned for 19.7 foot pounds on air, it made 14.5 foot pounds on bulk fill co2. With another tuned for 2800psi, would make 32 foot pounds on air and 15.2 foot pounds on co2.So the closer to co2 type pressures they run with on air, the closer to air velocity/energy they get on co2....and with the 2K fill limit of a Disco/Maxi that might make for a useful range of energy.
GUESSING...if pretty close to out-the-box-tuning, something like 11-12 foot pounds (although it would livkely much prefer heavier pellets to lite ones ).
NOTE:
Normally, when I do the co2 testing in PCPs, tend to just teather a line to a paintball tank when I'm sitting in one place shooting. Can shoot a long-long time that way, and it doesn't matter if you are teathered or not. For roaming around shooting, would be limited to the co2 in the air tube...which is still a whole lot of shots.

Thanks for the reply . Have you ever tried Co2 in a 1720T/1701P ? As far as .177 disco I was wanting low power plinking/pest birds etc. 550-600fps with 10.3 jsb would be nice

In June of 2014 I got a Disco .177. Added Prod gauge block & Boss valve.
On CO2 W/JSB 8.5=750fps 1o.34=685fps 13.43=640fps
On air the JSB 8.4 pellet was at 950fps.
On CO2 it was not much if any better than my 2260.
Sorta just depends on how much you want to spend to fill it as to how hard you want it to hit.
