NOMAD COMPRESSOR DIED...HOW LONG DID YOURS LAST?

i bleed off head pressure before i shut-off, or start-up any compressor i have.
and i only fill guns....ya think that might be why i have 16hrs run time on my YH
and 9.8hrs on my spark, and all is well ........

That's got to have lots to do with it because I top off my SCUBA tank and my recently acquired 6.8 L SCBA tank.
Soon after my starting to top off my SCBA tank 2500 to 3600-3800(this was about my 4th cycle) my YH took a dump. The high pressure side went out.
A clip that holds the bushing on high side broke in half which caused a very low volume of air on the output hose.
I ordered a complete top end and will rebuild the old one for a spare.
The YH had 11 hours on it which doesn't see that many and as far as I could tell it wasn't run hard and put away wet...so to speak.

Tempted to get a NOMAD or Venturi when I'm away from the tanks. But need to take care of YH first.
