DAR .22 trigger adjusting screw

Just got this rifle last Saturday and checked trigger pull at 3.8 LBS. When I went to adjust trigger my hex key torqued to much and I realized it must be put together with loctite.
I thought of applying heat but thought I might check in here first.
This rifle is working out very well so I don't want to push this  thing to far and damage the screw.

I adjusted both of mine , it is just for trigger length ,

I worked the trigger a bunch by holding the cocking lever so as not to fire the gun cycling the trigger hundreds of time and put a small dab of grease on the part that clicks into the hammer threw the back of the trigger housing -  inside the  rectangle opening you can see it work when cocking the gun , that smoothed the triggers out a bunch ..

Yeah, I wouldn't just put a bunch of heat to it just on the premise that it may have loctite on it without checking to see what the heat may damage. I've never experienced any gun manufacturer loctiting an adjustment screw. That would kinda defeat the whole purpose, right?

I'm going today to get a T handle hex to see if I can get it loose, If not I may just have to live with it.

I’m still curious if anyone has figured out what this adjustment does?  It’s on the back of the trigger blade and only accessible if the trigger guard is removed. I messed with it a bit but could bot feel any difference in the feel of the trigger.

You can definitely shorten the pull, making it lighter takes a bit of polishing. Light springs would help also, but it doesn’t use the conventional compression springs that can be swapped out with a spring from a pen.

My thought was it had to do with removing the safety. Dunno.

 The screw does not have to be that hot, just enough to melt the loctite and break it loose....

Kind of what I was thinking. It appears that about 1/4" of screw showing..
