Hi allI'm in dire need of a second air rifle, I have been reading up lots and would like some input from (prospective) owners...The main things I'm looking for, in order of importance are te following : 1 As quiet as possible (Garden with loads of hard, flat surfaces so an absolute must if I want to do some backyard shooting)2 (De)Tunable ( I'm looking to get something in .22 that will mostly be set to 18-20 FPE (or slightly less if the muzzle report is quieter), but the option to turn it up again would be nice to do some longer distance plinking if the sudden urge comes...)3 Robust 4 CompactThe rifles I found up till now are :Edgun Leshiy long ( Always liked it but tiny air tube and folding system does not seem as robust?)Edgun Lelya 2.0 (what a beaut ! with brains! love the looks and should be a good shooter)Taipan Veteran compact/shorty ( Ugly duckling but man, reviews are raving!)FX Impact compact ( A tad expensive for my taste...)FX Dreamline compact series (Right on the money but have not been reading a lot of good things about the dreamline series...)Which out of these would suit my needs best? I have been hearing and reading that the FX rifles are not as robust and problem-free as they used to be, so I'm throwing in the Eastern European ones since they appear to have a flawless reputation... I like the idea of the compact FX-'s in that they (should) have easy power (HS, TP) and regulator adjustment. On thqe other hand I've been reading how good the Veteran shorty and Lelya 2.0, Leshiy long are... Anybody know if the Lelya is also "made " to be on high power like the leshiy? Since long term low power use ( 12FPE) might damage the valve on the Leshiy... I contacted Taipan and they said it would not be a problem with their veteran compact... Any input of owners regarding my criteria or suggestions for other rifles I might have missed that fit those criteria are more than welcome!Thank you all very much, keep up the good work !
I like the looks of the FX Dreamline, I'd probably get the .22 or maybe .25 or both That was my original choice! The dreamline light compact. But since I started researching the dreamline platform, very few are truly happy with their purchase... so eastern european or russian it will be...

The Taipan Veteran seems like a pellet-proof choice.
