FFP Scope Question

I don't have that particular Centerpoint, but I have another model on my R1, and so far, I must say it's impressive!

The sight picture is good, and it's holding up to use on a tough springer, so that's about as much as one can expect from a scope in that price range.
I'd buy the same one again.

Thanks for the help on the FFP scope. I ordered and finally received the BSA from Aliexpress. I was really impressed with the scope as the glass was clear and seemed to be good quality. I did not like the reticle, though. It has 1/2 mil cross hairs. The 1/2 mil and the mil cross hairs are the same size and no numbers on the cross hairs. I use the “hold overs” a lot hunting. As an example, if you have a 3 dot hold over you have to count down 6 cross hairs. Gets confusing!

Long story short, I sold the BSA (without ever using it) and am waiting for the Athlon that I ordered. Triple the cost but the reticle is more to my liking (I hope) with numbered mil dots and 1/2 mils different size than full mils. Hope that I am happy with this one.

You wont regret the Athlon.  Also another one that is pretty good is the Monstrum Tacticle 4-14x44 FFP scope with the mildot reticle and half hashes. The turret pops up like the hawke scopes and locks back down after your adjustments.  Recently ordered one and I'm happy with it. All I do is hunt. Great price too.

I received the Athlon. I liked the scope but the magnification ring was “extremely” hard to turn. Returned it and am waiting for the replacement. This is turning into a real hassle!

Received my replacement Athlon scope and I love it. Mounted on my 25 Veteran and it’s perfect for ground squirrels. Great to be able to zoom in and still have plenty of mil dots for long shots.

Those of u who ordered the BSA FFP 4-14X44 from aliexpress..hows it holding up for u? The $96 price is 1/3 of elsewhere. I figured it was a counterfeit d/t the low price. Great price for a FFP.

I’ve got two from the three I originally bought. There are a few different versions of the same scope . I believe the one from Ohunt is the better quality and has a finer reticle . No locking turrets on it though, wish it had them . Pretty hard to beat it for the money. Don’t forget to look at the Discovery line . Just got one and I’m impressed , much better quality glass than I was expecting . I does cost more but we’ll worth it .

Yeah I just received the Discovery HI 6-24x50 and VT-2 4.5-18x44 as well as much cheaper VT-Z 6-24X44. All have great glass and very fine reticle. Was just tempted by $96 price on Aliexpress FFP BSA. Thought it looked too good to not be counterfeit.
