Air Arms HFT 500

I would like to ask one of the AA HFT 500 gun owners if you can loosen the three barrel grub screws and pull the barrel off or is it a little more complicated ? Thanks Dan

Many times there will be trace loc-tite from the thimble install that has wicked between barrel and receiver holding them together quite secure.  taking the receiver OFF and applying some serious heat is required in many instances.
It is of my opinion that Air Arms really has NOT made the gun to have a serviceable barrel for the home tinkerer.

Thanks . I like to take the barrel out to clean but I guess I will have to turn action over and clean it that way if I buy one .I sure like the looks and specs .
