it had the reciever machined to accept a s&w rear sight.

Anybody put open sights on bt np 22 or know of kits . Open to ideas first one I've ever owned kinda miss open sights for up close plinking and shooting snakes wich i usually take real close range don't always need big scope
crowpopper, looks like you like a nice large pistol too dont you? I always build mine long. some ppl dont like em too long, I generally use at least a 14" barrel.J.Austin
