It's amazing how quickly a thread can be hijacked.

To the point

I'm looking for a place to shoot, safely & legally, within reasonable reach from my home in the Washington DC area.
It does not need to be a range, but could be.
The goal is target shooting with real lead pellets
And, as stated, safe & legal are the most important criteria

If you are ever in WV look me up.  I am trying to build a FB group "WV Airgunners" to start gathering and going to shoot together.  I am also working to get access to a larger range.  In the end I am wanting to open an AirGun store as well as host an annual event here in WV with prizes.  That may be 2-3 years out.

I am just outside of Morgantown but make trips to Charleston every once in a while.

We're pretty far apart
3-1/2 hours or so, driving
But only 4 hours & 45 minutes on the bus with free wifi
That would be a special trip with long rifles
