Retay 135x 22cal.

Installed a .135 spring. And resized my piston seal with Gamo 15.43 grain wadcutters get about 804 FPS and rws Superdomes get 825 FPS gun is very accurate with the wadcutters gun has a loud pow when shot ,gun was setting for awhile just got a wild hair started working on my guns again. This gun is a keeper. Hopefully I can introduce my gun to mr armadillo.

Good results!  What was the wire diameter and velocity of the OEM spring?

Think it was a .128 wire not sure oem setup with cphp's 14.3 shots around 760+

Does your .22 retay have a slightly oversized barrel? The three that I purchased have all been larger and nearly every pellet drops in and can be pushed with little resistant. With the exception of some Mendoza pellets that I have. Of the three I purchased 2 were sent back for missing scope rails and safety concerns.

Have to push to seat mine otherwise it’ll fall out haven’t try pushing a pellet down the barrel. Had to replace Breech seal on mine and Gamo large seal fits perfectly.

Currently my breech seal looks ok, I’ll try seating pellets until they are snug. Maybe that will help. I may also try some of the Gamo pellets.

You might try some ,H&N field target trophy’s they have them in different skirt sizes 5.52/5.53 plus they’re lighter weight than Gamo wadcutters.

I have a very short indoor range, it's mostly for testing purposes, I experimented a little with seating depth and a few pellets, mainly cphp and jsb 15.89 pellets. The seating depth at my range made no difference in poi but every pellet did stay put when closing the barrel. So I think that is a success. Some pellets were seated considerably deep. Like 1 1/2 inches, others were just 1/16 to 1/8. Maybe someday I'll open this airgun up ans put the same spring as the OP. I found that Vortek has one.
