NOE Sizing System

Im either doing something wrong, missing something or have far less patience than others using this for smaller calibers. Why does the die body for smaller calibers not have an "exit" hole? Ive thoroughly enjoyed getting into casting the last couple of years but when I went to size my .2xx, I had to take the bushing out for each. That cant be right, can it? Of the three, this one is solid on the top. Im thinking, hoping I am missing one, because it seems like there are four in the picture on the website.

Just use the bushing with the smallest through hole . I’m not sure why there’s one without a through hole but as you see it doesn’t work too well .
. The only problem would be that a bullet could get cocked sideways in the bushing if the hole is too large . I have recently mounted my press upside down and now I don’t need the bushing at all .

The smallest push through is about 40cal it seems, I did not measure. But no, I tried even two pills and crushed them as they did not fit, in an effort to removing the bushing every other
Okay, so Im not crazy and supposed to take the bushing out after each bullet! Well, maybe Im still crazy but that it is not that inefficient

gracious! I am crazy
I looked through the pics on the website to be sure, but there should be another one. I just found it! I put it away at some point with some other sizing paraphernalia. Now I will do some casting today..............tough getting old- LOL But as usual, the forum can be therapeutic!

Currently using the Lee breech lock reloader press (
https://www.titanreloading.com/lee-precision-reloading-equipment/lee-presses/lee-reloader-press
) as I bought my entire set up at a steal from Titan Reloading (love this company) and it has served me well for my volume. However, as I step it up, Im going to go with something more beefy as I "think" Im going to start reloading my centerfire.

I believe that part is for nose sizing only, but I have never used it.... Here are the online instruction....

Looks like you need a nose-die and ram for your bullet to use with it....
HTHs....

Bob beat me too it on the included nose sizing.
+ on mounting the press upside down. Bought a cheap Lee just for that position/purpose. I then used a short piece of hose that fits over the die end sticking down to curve down and over to a can with a washcloth folded up in it's bottom to cushion the falling bullets.

Yep, it is for nose sizing, so something I don't use at all.
I went with the Lee challenger. 60+ bucks, o frame with compound average. Midway has a good deal on them, anf free shiping last time I looked..
I really enjoy it upside down.

I sent Lee photos of my upside down press, and suggested the put a flange on the top so that it can be bolted to a bench upside down.... They never even had the courtesy to reply....

Lee has really been slipping in the Customer Care the last few years. A shame, but it seems more and more prevalent in many industries.
