Newbir JSAR P-Rod stock adapter question.

Bought the JSAR P-Rod adapter since it was recommended by several here. It didn't come with any directions and couldn't find any on the web. I called JSAR and the only advice I received was "to go slow." I pushed further and asked if I had to retune it or if there was a way to remember the tune and I was told there wasn't.
I was advised once to use loctite on the small set screw by a member to guard against the hammer set screw from backing out but JSAR said that was for the Marauder not the P-Rod.
I ended up just buying the RAI adapter and it seems just fine so far. Oddly enough it came with directions and there are many on the net and it is the one that doesn't need any.
I was wondering if there is a thread about the installation etc that someone could direct me to if I decided to ever use it. It was only $45 and makes a nice paperweight so no great loss if there isn't any.
Thanks to all in advance.

I have the very same adapter but it is attached to a 22xx build.
JSAR drilled and tapped (8-32) the top and bottom sections for it to fit my 22xx tube.
Mine has a built in power adjuster which I DIYed myself.
You can go to Ace Hardware, bring the adapter with you, and look for a set screw (I tested some long bolts that would mate with the thread pitch to zero on what set screw to buy) that would fit the threaded hole--the set screw must be long enough for the JSAR AR adapter's top-load set screw to lock it.
Now for the spring guide, I bought one of these from Ace Hardware too:
I chose one that would fit (I did reduce the diameter on 1 side by sanding it while attached to an electric hand drill, as it was too tight for insertion into the set screw's hex hole) the hexagonal hole of the set screw--the
rim
will act as your hammer spring stopper; you can also glue it for more security.
Install the power adjuster with the shelf pin facing the the hammer--this should be obvious enough.
I did not preload mine.
With my set-up you would not be able to degass it though.
