I came so close to ordering some of those, but I didn't.  Good to know they are decent rings!

Whatever you decide just make sure you go with a FFP scope.  I have a Falcon Menace 5.5-25x50 and love it.  It's a Mil/Mil FFP scope.  I don't think they offer this one anymore, but Falcon scopes are super nice.

tweeter why are those classified as med and high but both are one inch rings? is there a difference?

p.s. never mind that's scope size not height one is 28mm the other is 33mm to center of scope. read to fast thanks those rings looks good I am getting some med rin hs with a scope and will decide if they are good enough or high enough and go from there.

I know you already decided on your scope but I just want to follow up on the post I posted earlier about the Discovery scope.

I just mounted it on the Taipan and I'm impressed. I think I like this better than the Athlon, maybe they are not comparable, the Athlon is 4-14x44 and the Discovery is 6-24x50, the group I just did at 45 yards is amazing, with the increased magnification I feel I can now reach this rifle potential.

One downside on the Discovery is that I like better Athlon's reticle (one of the Discover have the same Athlon but I went with a different one). At low maginification my choice of reticle is so thin I can barely see it, I never had this issue with the Athlon but beyond 10x the reticle is good.  I got it for hunting and for 40yds plus so I think this is not going to be a problem.

I'll see if I can mount the phone and do a video later, the scope came with a phone adapter, sweet.

Ok, sorry once more, as I said just wanted to follow up on the Discovery, I really think is a great scope and the price is outstanding
