i'm going to sell my YH self contained unit and the spare parts one i recently just bought for a bout the same you just paid....wish i'd have known  because we could have met in p'cola and saved you added shipping costs.

Dang, John, I forgot you had that one.  I may know someone who would be interested, can you send me the details and your asking price in a PM?  I did get the new one running today, that set pressure feature is pretty awesome!  LOL!  It even beeps when it's done so I know, not that I don't, the lack of noise is pretty obvious!

I'm still fighting with the seller over the water pump, hoses and power cord.  He want to send them from China and said it would take 15-30 days to arrive!  I told him i bought that one because it shipped from VA and I'd have it pithing 3 days!  It's been sitting unused for 4 days now while i squabble over logistics!  What he doesn't know if I order a Standard Chinese power cord from Amazon, and it arrived today, so I'm up and running again.  I'll keep fighting, eventually we'll start negotiating the amount he'll refund me for the missing parts, which will reduce the cost even further.  All I really needed was the power cord, the pump was already set up from the last one...  And the saga continues...

I've  had my yong heng 110v with adjustable shutoff for some time.  I fill my tanks to 4200. I also fill my friends.
While I've  had no problems so far,  I  ordered a piston to have on hand just in case.
On another note, I  use a five gallon bucket with three gallons of ice for cooling and submerge the bottom half of my gold filter in the ice water. It captures a remarkeable amount of moisture by condensation which gets trapped in the filter. I use the cotton type filter, dessicant and cotton filter in that order. I just pack the dessicant between the two pieces of white filter. My gold filter housing is anodized internally so there is no corrosion issue. After each use I dissasemble the filter and dry the cotton elements.
So far it's great.

There were a lot of times that I almost pushed the button on the Yong Heng and I'm glad I didn't, I have the Freedom 10 coming here Tuesday !!!  There's nothing but good reports about the shoebox since I've been on this forum and the people that have them are still using them trouble free, that's what I like to hear and they're made in the USA to boot

I must be lucky with my Yong Heng. It is still kicking and for the $235 I paid for it I’d have no problem buying another one every year. I tossed around the idea of buying an omega or airventuri but for the price I can buy several of these things. I might buy a shoebox as a backup too. I’m done driving to dive shops to get my tank filled. Too far of a drive

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, or if it even helps, but it's all I could find on the web...

EDIT:  The 2nd stage piston I ordered is due to arrive today, so I went a head and tore my Simple model down in preparation.  Here are a couple more photos.  If there is something else you need a picture of, please let me know, I'd be happy to take a picture of it while I have it apart.

my hang foo took a dump today,   after 5 months  pumping straight to the gun

when  I bought this one.   I also bought a knock  off  YH.  it was full oil  so froze  up.

pitch a mean woman, seller did  nothing,    E bay say full refund $200.  I say to ebay  where's the money  nothing showed up.    ebay say in your paypal account   hey!    I don't have  a paypal account,

Walter,  Sorry for the delay in responding, I just saw your post after seeing John's today!  I did get the replacement cylinder head from AliExpress and will probably be installing it this weekend if I can find the time.  Once I have the old head off, I can dissect the valves a little more and try and get you some more detailed pictures.

Well, I have the original Mr. Heng all back together with his new high side piston and cylinder head installed.  That was a real chore!  Not that getting it back to gather was a chore, but the new high side piston was too long!  When I would rotate the fan on the back of the motor it would only go so far and would stop, a sure sign the piston was hitting the cylinder head.  If I had just put it together and fired it up, it would have been a disaster!  So, after a couple times of disassembling and reassembling between grinding a little at a time off the top of the piston, I finally got it to where it would rotate a full cycle.  I was too much of a chicken to plug it in and turn it on, that will have to wait till another day when I can disconnect the cooling hoses from the new Young Yong Heng and reattached them to the old man and fire him up.  Hopefully, he'll be back up to pare and will be my trusty back-up if the Young Yong Heng falters in any way...

I will get pictures of the cylinder head and the valve that fits into it this weekend.

I still have the supplied repair parts  for my YH.  if that doesn't work.  I'll get the top end from aliex.    Thats  from the crankshaft up.

Today,  the prod shows a bit low.  I get out the backup chinman  hand pump, Pfffffffff

dead. no air pump pump pump   Grrrrrrrrrrr     next out comes the been repaired once 5 yr old bennie pump.    no problem  pumps the gun ringht  up   1000 to 3000  in no time.     wait    wth   now bennies gauge doesn't match the prod gauge.

Is the sky falling    did  I miss out ?      Be  jeeez    us .   It's friday  my parts didn't show today.    my new old pistol   is  in the mail    an hour from my house   at 6am

I have a knock off and I figured Ahh if I get a few months I'll be happy. I'm going on 8 months of filling a 75cf carbon (I fill to 4700) and a 90cf scuba( filled to 3600psi) compressor is going strong just changed the oil and tightened all the bolts and gave it a good debur/visual check of all parts and put back together
