Real World - Changeable Caliber Rifles? FX, etc.

I've been looking for another rifle and the FX line keeps catching my eye because of the ability to swap out barrels to shoot different calibers, etc.

I the real world how many people actually have one platform that they regularly change barrels/calibers.  Like shooting FT in .177 then EBR .25 and then hunting .30+?

Am I just deluding myself that I would change out instead of having separate dedicated rifles?

 My experience get the caliber you intend to use the gun in, I have swapped from .25 to .22 then to .20, with my Escape UL I may go back to .22 as I bought a Talon SS in .20

I have a few FX airguns and different barrels/calibers for each.  Some can be a pain to swap calibers, but one is really very easy.  The M4 Impact can be swapped in a matter of minutes.  Just 2 grub screws, one for the barrel, one for the probe and you're done.  Tuning to a new caliber is very easy as well, just a quick adjustment of the power wheel and valve adjuster and you can go from .22 to .30.  I have 3 barrels, the .22, .25 and .30 all 600mm and actually change them more than any other FX I have.

Sounds like that is the ticket!  I will have to do that to some of my Crosman 160 HPA clones, as I really like the simplicity of the platform.

I have 5 dual cal springers and a couple pumper pistols. I have them cause I can, no real utility. Just to have something different. Like a springer repeater, I had two Mendoza springer break barrel repeaters long before the Gamo Swarm ever came out. A collector thing.

The Edgun Leshiy's, especially the II's, are on my dream list, but out of my budget, as are the Impacts.   

I was looking more at Dreamline price levels. The Avenge-X might also be a caliber swapable option.

I\d posit the FX Dreamline as beeing a valid choice.

Otherwise, i'm in agreement the Leshiy Classic is untouchable.  Calibers available: .177, .20, .22, .25, .30, .35 - you have to search far and wide for the .30, .35, and .20, but they're worth it.  I have .177, .22, and .25, and I logged regulator settings (turns) and velocities with specific pellets.  I've shot .177 Ultra Shocks, .22 Polymags, and .25 Hades in the same session and got desire results (with understanding I consider the Leshiy Classic good to about 80 yards in my hands).
