A couple weeks ago a guy offered to trade my QB78 for a Norica Goliath 88 in .22 caliber. Since my son, who is 11, loved the look of the bullpup I agreed. This is my first Norica so I wasn't sure what to expect.

It was shooting hi 500's and low 600's with 14.3 CPHPs on the chrony and was not grouping well when I got it. After clearing a fouled barrel it was better but needed a tune. Tore it apart and was pretty impressed with the innards.

I deburred everything, put some turcite buttons on the piston and swapped the stout spring on the rear of the trigger mechanism with a little lighter version. Groups out to 25 yards as well as my eyes will allow with a red dot and the trigger is much better.

Chrony numbers are a up to 640 FPS with a spread of only 3. Will see where it settles in after another couple hundred rounds but really looking forward to defending the garden against the huge crop of bunnies we have this year.
