Uragan .30

     I just ordered the NSA .30cal.   43.8 and  47.3 slugs to try out of my .30 Uragan I've read from Wiseguy that his .25 Uragan really likes slugs. So I really hope the .30 likes slugs too. I'll be heading out to my deer lease next weekend so I'm getting prepared. I'll be taking my Extreme .457 my 909S for deer. For predators my .30 Uragan hopefully shooting slugs! As a back up my Marauder .25 that loves VK 33gr I also ordered the Hatsan TacAir Spark Mini Compressor. If it works as planned I'll take the compressor and one pony bottle. Much easier than hauling 3big bottles around. Especially when the Extreme and Uragan fill to 300bar.  Hopefully it will all come together before next weekend.

Question :

Do you think the air tank can be painted over ? ...I really don't like that shiny finish it has,

My carbon fiber tanks on my Flexes have taken spray paint fine. Just lay down a coat of automotive spray paint primer first and before you do that clean it good with mineral spirits.

Eric Henderson has a good video on youtube on spray painting his guns that I followed with for my guns to good effect.

     Well, I’ll answer my own question. The NSA 47.2gr shoot so good out of this gun!
   I came home around noon and found the NSA AMMO package by my back door. Our mail man dropped it off. I opened the package and found the .30cal slugs. Well I have a few minutes before heading back to work. Filled the Uragan and loaded the 47.2 in the mag. Took a few shots and they were hitting exactly where the JSB hit. Well a few shots at rocks and dirt clods I felt good. After sitting on my porch for a while a had a Ring neck dove fly into my neighbor’s pecan tree that sets 90yds from my porch. Yes I have permission to shoot into this tree. I put the crosshairs just below the neck. Squeezed the trigger POP!!! Down goes dove #1 five minutes later POP dove #2. Then i loaded the 43gr slugs checked for accuracy. These shot very well too. After another 5-10 min another dove landed in the 90yd tree. Same POA same POI POP another dove hit the ground. Went and picked it up. Took a pic of the dove shot with each slug and sent to Nick in a text. So the 43 and 47gr slugs preformed WONDERFUL out of the .30 Uragan. Maybe this weekend I’ll shot over the chrono but with this accuracy I don’t care about numbers. Want to test out past 100yds.

Yes sir, very impressed with the power of these ammo gun combo. I will shoot paper to get a better idea. But man!!! This thing is amazing.

    Lol through my Airgun Addiction I have accumulated many Airguns. I sold 3 to buy this one!!! Now for the .25 Uragan that is next on my Radar that one I will have to have save  from every paycheck until I get the cash needed. I won’t dig into personal savings for toys!!! Lol but that gun sure is sweet. I would love to have .22 .25 and .30 all shooting slugs. That would be perfect. But like you stated. If I had the cash!!! Lol have a Blessed Day my Brother

    You will be amazed at the accuracy out of these slugs!! Today I was able to spend a little more time with my Uragan. The 42gr slugs preformed AWESOME!!! Both slugs shoot very very nice!!! Can wait to take her out to the deer lease this weekend and really stretch her legs. Also I hope to take a predator with her. I will skin it out and open it up to check the damage caused by the slug. She is dead on at 75yds!!! Beautiful combo

The Uragan is an exceptional PCP. I also have a .30. Love it. I dropped my reg pressure down to 145 bar and I'm shooting the 44.75s at 890 fps. I'm getting close to 60 shots on a 250 bar fill. I am competing in benchrest competitions so I detuned a bit but it's a very versatile platform. I haven't shot slugs with it yet but my EDgun loves the 47.2 gr NSA as well. I'm kinda look at the Uragan as my .30 pellet shooter and the Eddy as my slugger but with Chacho's report on the slugs I'll be giving it a whirl from the Hurricane.
