Where would I go to find out how to remove the pivot pin for the trigger on a Winchester 800X. The trigger is broke right behind the pivot and I am curious if I can do it myself.

Here's at least a picture ans some info on the rifle. Kind of looks like it's just a pin holding it in there and might be able to just be pushed out but that's purely a guess on my part....

I just pulled the stock off and removed the safety spring and yes, a pin slides out (it's held in place by the spring) and the other half of the trigger will come out. Now I just need to find a replacement trigger. Any ideas?

Winchester is a name commonly used on Daisy products. You could start there.

Made in Turkey? I seem to remember seeing it was related to the Hatsan, maybe the 125? Could be mistaken tho.

If you know someone with a mill they may be able to fabricate a new blade based on the existing pieces. If you can get a piece of aluminum or one of the harder plastics you may be able to do the same thing with a scroll saw.

If I can't get a trigger, I may look at drilling thru the center of both pieces and threading a set screw in place. Steel pin is possible but would probably work it's way out somehow.

I may have found it, problem would be finding someplace that sells one, but have a look at the trigger on the rifle in the attached .pdf file....

The pivot pin hole looks to be too far forward. I'm going to pull the other piece out tomorrow and see if I can find the 3 foot strip of aluminum I have and see if I can fashion one.

The trigger is back in one piece and the gun fires. I have it glued together with Gorilla Glue pending putting a pin in it. I doubt I will be able to drill and tap for a set screw as it's like 1/4 inch wide and drilling a hole may actually weaken it.
