Possible R7 on the way - cocking insert needed?

Should I plan on installing the cocking insert to prevent galling right away or just shoot it?

Personally, I'd be inclined to wait and see if it actually needs it. I have two HW30's and one R7, and all are just fine.

I say just shoot it. My late model HW30 has no sign of galling after several thousand shoots.
