crosman model# 262y scope mounting help.

Dose anyone have a model 262?  I bought one and want to mount a scope to it.  The scope I got came with 11mm airgun rings but will not work because of the top being rounded a little and not flat.  Thought maybe someone out there has mounted a scope on  a 262y or another airgun that dosen't have a flat top like the 262y.

There are 3/8 - 11mm rings that have a more concave base. Don't quote me, but, I think Tasco bases will work. You'll need to take one of your rings along to compare them. It doesn't take much of a relief to fit a rounded receiver.

 Quik Site KS-T90 vertically split rings should work, and as a bonus will self center on any width dovetail.  They come in gloss, flat, and silver.
