RMR (Rocky Mountain Reloading) has been a big supplier of affordable bullets for reloading powder burners. I use their products, and they are first rate at a good price.

RMR has been making some of the best bullets in America for several years now. Well, now RMR offers the best hollow point airgun slug you can get. We've been making these for a couple years under a different brand but are now selling them direct to customers in bulk. I've named them the SLAP slug. SLAP stands for "SLug And Pellet." They are light enough to work well through pellet barrels (not all pellet barrels. Check twist rate first) but they have the BC of a much heavier slug. Also, the massive hollow-point cavity makes an audible slap or pop sound when it hits game animals like ground-squirrels or birds. It leaves quite an impression when you hear it for the first time. They are available in .22 cal, .25 cal, .30 cal, and .35 cal.

We recognize that this product is not something that most of our customer are going to need. BUT, for those of you who are in the airgun scene, please consider giving these a try and please, please, please, help us get the word out with the airgun community. If that's what they look like... there's a good chance that's what they are.
Their powder burner bullets are top notch. I've had great luck with them.

Looks like a great option, but even at 1,500 slugs in 25 cal they are $0.12/each before shipping. NSA and Apolo slugs are much more affordable and so far very accurate. However, they are significantly less than the identical FX slugs.

Yeah, they are more affordable. I'm going to order some in the new year and do my own testing.

I got a couple containers of the FX slugs... I bought them when they were on sale someplace. I much prefer NSA slugs because at the end of the day they are cheaper and are accurate.

I think that is why the minimum offering is the $60 option.

Worst case scenario put them up on the classifieds here, or just burn through them plinking.

I have no idea what their performance is like. It appears they are being made with or solely from reclaimed core lead from jacketed PB bullets that rates a 10 on the Brinell
hardness scale, so they are alloyed with a harder metal like tin or antimony. Pure lead is rated at 5. This may make a significant difference in one way or another or it may not. It is however a difference. I do tend to think that this alloyed, harder lead in pellets will not match that of pure lead. It may also have a difference in barrel wear or cleaning? PB barrels tend to be made from harder and more temperature and pressure resistant steels than air arms.

If they are identical to FX, they are priced the same. 3+1 at Pyramid et al, add another, cost $60 for 500 or cheaper at 800 for $90 in 22 that I would purchase. Still pricier than rimfire. Also you can spin for a discount but you pay freight at Pyramid. They do come in excellent protective packaging though and that is worth it to me at virtually the same price. I have a couple guns that like them.

They use quality, consistent lead in their jacketed bullet cores.
You can dig as much as you want, but you'll find VERY little bad press regarding RMR. VAST majority are very happy customers.
They do sell jacketed bullet lead cores that come out to around 10-12 Brinell hardness. Many use this as a base metal when casting bullets. It's very reasonable at less than $2/lb shipped. You can get 60lb for $100 and free shipping. 20lb is $39. The more you get, the cheaper it is. Cannot confirm what the BH is on the Airgun Slugs.
You can see in the pictures how they work and expand. Can't be too hard...
