Tom's thread on drilling out ports, and removing spring for 250 FPE. This is a popular mod as it's relatively easy to do at no cost, or little cost if you need someone to drill it. There are more threads with valve changes.

I,m so sorry I ask. You see I,m new to the form & have looked with out success. There is another site concerning the Bull Dog

I understand the search engine here is lacking. It's dismal at times. I get better results doing a google search specific to what I'm looking for and Google provides the links to this site, GTA. I've spent endless hours in loops attempting to find info here with it's woefully inadequate search engine. That aside this site is packed with info and more often than not more accurate information than other sites.

Go to the GTA home page and use the search in the upper right hand part of the page, use the quotient symbol before and after bulldog, that helps filter out what you are looking for, enter exactly what is typed here "bulldog". Good luck.

Even myself, I am in the process of dredging for Bulldog info and it will take a while.  Thanks for the Google tips.
Part of the issue is the Bulldog is a few years old and the old posts are covered by months of newer threads.
A researcher has to go way back in history to find the best relevant information.   Yes, Gooogle searching can help, but because people are not always accurate with their titling, Google can miss a lot.  Having the information sorted in a subject specific location on the forum is the only correct thing to do.

Today's world,...everyone wants everything easy and fast.

You hit the nail on the head, NP. We have gotten so accustomed to the instant gratification aspect of our computerized world that folks forget that there is still a human interface running the show at its roots and that despite our advances, we are not perfect. The thing about this forum is that there are folks running the show who have, due to necessity, lives and responsibilities beyond the GTA. The members are charged no dues and the GTA caters to no advertising sponsors. The larger the website gets, the more funding it needs to exist. Because we exist only due to the periodic raffles and generous donations of our members it is difficult to satisfy all of the requests for this or that "improvement" to the site, and the fact that all of this must be monitored by folks who donate their time and effort to insure that the GTA will go forward in the future and continue to be an incredible source of information for our sport.

All in all, I think we're doing a remarkable job!

Right you are! and also why I have supported the forum with $ twice and plan to continue to do so.  I do appreciate the mods, and other mods on other forums, who police and help.
And yes, it should be up to the users to be accurate in their postings for the benefit of others.  for now, Google is my best friend.
There is still what the forum can do in how it is set up and what the software will allow and what upgrades can be made.
I will just leave it at that.  If I really didn't care about this forum, and think it's the best, I wouldn't be so vocal.
And yes, you admin and mods are fantastic!
