Brand New Bulldog defect? Noslers clip the shroud end cap

I am quite annoyed. A brand new out of the box Bulldog from Pyramyd has Noslers clipping on their way out of the shroud. Upon inspection, the bottom bolt for the front shroud cover intrudes into the muzzle hole. Do they all have such a long bottom bolt, or did they assemble mine wrong by using a long bolt? Infuriating. I can fix it by backing that bolt out partially, but I can't see why they would design it to have a loose bolt.

Yes, that is what I wrote. I could see it intruding to the muzzle by shining a light into the end.

By front I meant breeh end.  Breech screw needs to be long enough to engage barrel.  Regards, Tom

Ah, ok. I haven't disassembled it to see the various other screws yet. I am just annoyed at the low quality out of the box, and was wondering if this is common, or they just used too long of a screw by accident during assembly.

That screw should be the same as the one on top:  #8-32 x .437, BHCS, 7/16" length

You could also check that the hole in the bottom picatinny rail is not too deep.   A shorter screw, or washer, etc should get you going.   Crosman will send you whatever wrong parts were installed.
