What size is it?

Guys
I just received a YH hose/filter (Black one with the small cotton filters),
I want to fit this filter to the SB F-10 compressor, using QD fittings etc,
What is the correct thread size for end of the hose that terminates in the threaded male end?
I don't seem to have a female QD that will fit it.
Tia,
Don

Well, I just got a Foster M10x1 female fitting,
It does NOT fit correctly. It only threads on about 3/4 of a turn.
Any other guess's as to what size this fitting is, and will fit?

I think 1/4 or 1/8 NPT is very similar to that threading.

Probably BSPT, British Standard Parallel Thread. NPT & BSPT thread pitch is very close for both for 1/8" and 1/4" but besides the NPT being tapered the thread apex angles are different. You don't need to use pipe tape on BSPT, it uses a sealing washer on the end.
