career 707 II air leak

Just put new o-rings on the front end of a Career 707 II.I was told that the rear o-ring on the nanometer was a 3x17 but I cannot get the nanometer to line up in the window at the bottom, I am short by a 1/4 turn. The old o-ring appeared to be a square cut but Not sure if it should be square cut. Can anyone out there help with the proper o-ring size and style that I need so I can finish this up? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I havent replaced o-rings on that particular model but from the other koreans that ive had to reseal, the air gauge lining up with the window has to do with whether you've screwed the "end tube assembly" in too much or not enough. Ive only had one airgun that appeared to have square cut o rings and that was an old Saver 7000. I replaced them with regular standard o rings and it sealed just fine. Not sure on exact sizes but ive usually found what i needed in an o ring assortment kit.

@a.z. Thank you. I tried a different size O-ring but still wouldn't seal. I had to order some more O-rings so I have a square cut coming. When I install the original O-ring that appears to be square cut I can tighten the nanometer down and it lines up perfectly but any other O-ring and I either cannot tighten enough or its a half turn loose. Hopefully the square cut one will solve my issue.

@A.Z. I will hopefully have everything back together soon and leak free and will let you know how that all went or will be asking more questions. Thank you.
