Hawke Scope Trial on Urban

I've had a Hawke 4x32AO scope for some time that needed a trial, and I wanted to use a pair of low mount Hawke four-screw rings for lower mounting on my Urban.   I like scopes mounted as low as possible and this combination gives but a scant few millimeters with the lens caps on.   Well planned indeed!   

With the reticle focused, I set to AO focusing and shooting on my 22.5 yard suburban range with a soft rest.

The target was not completely clear, but having retina disease I proceeded, with the result attached below.   Three shots were taken, adjusting after each, and the forth took out the 1/8" 10 ring.   I completed the final 6 shots - the one pulled to the right was called.   Even so, the 7-shot group is well under a dime.   With a good scope and shooter without vision issues, I expect a true one-hole group is possible with this rifle at this distance.

I checked ME out afterward by looking through one of several UTG BB 3-9x32AO scope I have, and it was more clear than this Hawke.

I've had one of those Hawke scopes for sometime.  It's mounted on an old Haenel 303 Super.  It's one of my favorite scopes.  It looks like your Urban should get the job done!

I have a 30mm tubed center point variable on mine ...using side. Focus and 8 power at 40 yards   i feel like I’m cheating.....nice shooting OP...

Craig, fantastic groups for one with bad eyes! ...I think you should at least try one of your UTG scopes on your Urban

I put the last BB on a Marauder pistol.   I'm thinking of looking for a side focus 3-9x40 or 4x12x40 (or 42-44).   That will require a higher set of rings.   Or perhaps a combination of rings and dovetail-to-weaver adapter to get the height desired.
