The one in Kalamazoo always has a fantastic assortment of vintage guns for sale.
Wow, someone is either single or soon to be.
I don’t think the price would have climbed that high if the buyer played his cards right. He jacked up the price from the start. If I want something bad enough I won’t bid until the last 15-20 seconds. Never reveal your hand.

The way the "new" Ebay works is you enter your "Max bid" it will automatically take you only to the dollar amount it would take to win the item, either by beating the current highes bidder max or the reserve price. In other words, the winner could have put in a ""Max Bid" of $1200 if he was willing to pay that much for it... but it only took $950 to win. So that is what he pays. It is not like a real auction where you can throw out a sky high bid to scare others off.
. You enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay for the item in the bid amount field when placing a bid. . AutoBid then bids on your behalf, and always bids the least it can to win the auction. Because AutoBid bids the least it can to win, your posted bid can be lower than your entered bid.. If you are outbid, AutoBid incrementally raises your bid, but it never bids more than your Maximum Bid.
. If there is bidding activity on the auction within 15 minutes of the scheduled close, the auction is automatically extended until there have been no bids placed within 15 minutes.. After 15 minutes with no bidding activity, the auction closes.
Don't want to give my high card away but like I said; I wait for a few seconds for the bidding to close (bay) & I enter my final bid. Max bid or otherwise. It's fun to watch the numbers flash & thoughts of the other guys fingers stumbling all over the key board to try & max me with a few seconds left. Called blind sidding. The guy doesn't know I exist til the final seconds. So he isn't prepaired.
