Something to think about when adjusting your reg?

Not sure if this goes for all regs but at least for regs with gauges. Having a gauge for your reg pressure is a blessing and a curse trust me lol. Find myself always checking it, "Did it creep?".
I've noticed with my Cobra reg that after I adjust it, it will take maybe 100 shots for the reg to "settle" and not creep just a little. Say I adjust it now from 2100 up to 2300psi it may creep to 2400psi over night (which to me is no big deal as 1 shot clears that up). But after a good number of shots the reg pressure stays rock steady or seems to so far. Last week when I added the cobra valve I adjusted my reg and thought by adjusting it, it made the reg creep but this weekend it has been solid right at 2100psi where I set it with no creeping. Back to perfect, I love it!
Not sure if turning the adjustment screw also turns the reg piston so it takes some cycling until it "builds" itself a nice seat to seal up good.
All regs I hear take time to settle. Reg pressure gauge... A blessing and a curse!

Yup, reposition the seats sealing surface & established pattern it may indeed take a few cycles to Re-establish a good seal.

Thanks for the comment Scott. It's good to know that it is normal and I won't worry about it the next time I adjust the reg.
Thinking about taking it up to 2400 to see how fast this 12" .25 barrel will launch the kings (not worrying about noise or efficiency of course).
At 2100 (per gauge) it'll shoot 830fps.
