New airgun delivered yesterday. I was so excited to get it on a chrono and do some grouping with different pellets. What really excited me was the groups I was getting with CPHPs. Dime size at 34 yards. Speed was 861 with and spread of 5 after 20 shots, Wow, I found a gun.
Then it all went south. Gun dumped all the air. Air tube was so loose it rattled. So I hand tightened it and the fill plug is now hidden by the barrel. It is under warranty so back it goes.
Wow. from a really big high to a bummer of a day. Oh well, time to watch the masters.
I wonder how they keep the pests from tearing up the course.

Howard, Compatto’s are a beautiful gun! I am sorry yours had a leak....I returned an FX because of the same issue and am looking to pull the trigger on the non reg Compatto, maybe today! These tick all the right boxes for me . I don’t know if you are interested in the Daystate Huntsman Regal XL as they are $200 more but worth it in my humble opinion and get close to 50 shots with a little more power. Anyway,  hope you get a keeper SOON! I will be watching the Masters too!

Well at least it wasn't me this time.  stinks to have it all together then blow up in one sitting.  Mine usually go south in storage.
