I’ve been a member of the Shippensburg Fish and Game Club for 40 plus years.  We have one of the nicest facilities in the state.  You can google the club and get at least some perspective.  Very nice outdoor shooting ranges with distances at 25, 50, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, and 700 with gongs and paper backers and also a nice 10 meter indoor range. 

I’ve ask the board of directors to allow anyone interested to be permitted to shoot with us on Oct 12 starting at 8am.  Some of the more local fellows are coming and we have planed a rather loosely organized shooting event. 

The ranges will not be closed to other ( powder burner ) shooters and depending on interest and how this develops we may be able to also shoot our PB guns as well .

I’m also going to invite the club members to attend this.  Most of them have little or no idea what modern air rifles are about.   

This will not be a competition more of a causal fun shoot and a show and tell.   I’m thinking everyone bring targets swingers and anything like field target targets of which I have a few. 

This will be and entirely new deal a first try.  I have several people already planning to come. 

Shippensburg is a college town and there are motels in the proximity.  The web site for the club gives good directions.  Let’s see how many guys are interested. You can PM me or reply to topic.

Going to have lots of high end guns there, RAW, fx, daystate, etc.  Even if you don’t have a gun come on down and try some out!

I will be bringing my chronograph, lots of different 22/25 cal ammo/slugs for people to try out, plenty of air, long range optics for people looking to lob some lead at the longer distances.  Gonna be a blast!
