MY Buddy Sling lol..

   I refused to even consider one of the Gamo Buddy slings for various reasons.. one, i hated the idea of a sling that could slide off and two, the big GAMO lettering emblazened on the front.. three, the name. The name "Buddy sling" just bothers me for some reason,, maybe it was those "My Buddy" dolls when i was a kid.. anyways i needed about 10 bucks more spent to get free shipping so i broke and bought a Buddy sling. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!  The best $12.00(or free kinda) i might have ever spent(probably not).  This sling is very well made and has leather where it will contact bluing. It's completely adjustable for all size guns and is feather light. The shoulder padding is very thick and cushions as well as any sling i've ever used. The very best part of it all, is something i would not have expected. Because the sling lies flat against the gun at points of contact, instead of sticking out like it does with swivels, the gun lies flatter to your body and actually lies against your back instead of your side. This is a much better way to carry, more stable and centers the weight better, as well as protects the gun from branches and trees  etc. I would highly recommend one of these to anyone with a springer or other gun where swivels are not easily possible. No kidding? I was wondering about what kinda' sling or strap to get for the upcoming season. That's a really good price for something that is simple and effective! Thanks for the review on something I would have other wise passed on cause I think the name "gamo buddy" blows goats as well! lol
