Put a Lothar Walther Barrel on a Semi Auto Evanix (Stupid idea?)

Hey, I'm a big Evanix fan. I have been stockpiling Evanix Semi and Full Auto's for a while now. I have about 20. They are awesome, innovative designs... but not known for their accuracy.

 Here is my idea: What if I took a .22 caliber Max for example, and had a Walther barrel installed ...then a regulator as well.

Would this turn my Evanix into a tac driver? or be a waste of time?

My first thoughts are could the original barrels be made better.
Polishing the lead in, checking the muzzle crown or choking the barrel.
As you have a few I would guess there is one you can play with.

I'm wondering why you have so many Evanix rifles if you don't like their barrels? I have heard that they have problems on some rifles on the last part of the barrel and you can get by cutting like a 3/4 inch inch off.
