Hi Guys,
I'm building a Custom Disco."folding stock, tactical carbine"and was wondering If anyone could point me in the right direction.
It is almost complete, but I'm having trouble sourcing a foregrip.I'm looking for something that has an inlet for
the gauge.Crosmods makes one,but it's not what I want....any other options?I was thinking of using the front section of the original stock, but would like to avoid having to sacrifice the stock for this project.

not sure of the part number but a fore end from the marauder pistol should work.
Or I have an old 2260 stock that could be modified.

Thanks for the tips goodland... I got a message from a guy who does custom woodwork. In the mean time I've decided to make my own. After a XL Monster energy drink I got to work.Just the basics for today,as I have a good sized honey do list.If the Mrs. finds out I'm playing today...well you know.. Laughing
The piece was cut,"rough tapered"and material removed to make it fit.As far as attachment I'm going to drill, and tap the bottom of an extra barrel band,do an inlet in the grip, drill, and countersink it. The band will be located right in front of the extension tube on the breech.I'm also working on an engraving stencil for a Tribal design...

Hey that looks great. I'm glad you made it yourself. Feels good to create something yourself.
What is your tool or tools of choice for the carving? Dremel or wood carving chisels?
Never crossed my mind the tribal design very original.
You have inspired me to work on a design myself as I am designing a new stock for my disco. It's going to need a badge or symbol.
My favorite designs come from the kwagiutl indians of the pacific northwest.

I love my Dremel setup,as the possibilities are almost endless. For engraving I use the Dremel in most cases, followed by wood carving tools to make the design nice, and sharp. It depends though on what I'm doing.I just started woodworking recently, and it's a-lot of fun....so many possibilities.I'm still learning on a daily basis....there are guys that have amazing skills, and I'm trying to learn as much as I can from them.
