Prod breech length

I've been searching for a while, with no answer- does anyone happen to know the OAL of the Prod breech?  TIA

oal 6.218 using a ruler, my 6 calipers don't open up that wide..

I have no idea if Rapid-70 is still in business, but if he is, I'll be snagging one of his P-rod bullpup kits.  I have a disco that I want to use, and the breech is only 5.187" long, so I may have to modify the scope rail a bit.  Again, this is IF Rapid-70 is still making kits.  He may not be.

kits look neat, however the price a person said they paid (350$) puts it outside what i am willing to spend on one at this time.  also, have to cut the grip in half according to this person's review

Let him know you are doing a disco, the gauge is in a different location, and possibly the stock lug.  Not sure what trigger it uses.  That rail ext may not fit a steel breech well.   Just some things to check on.

What's the height of the Prod breech?  That's another measurement I'm concerned about... 

Geoff:  Well, $350 is sort of high, but considering it's still cheaper than the least expensive bullpup out there, (P12, $400), and it's basically a complete kit.  The trigger grip mod is of no consequence, because those trigger groups aren't all that expensive from Crosman...  Also, considering he's the only one (if he's still making kits, of course!) that's making a "drop-in" kit for a Prod sized airgun.  This is similar to the situation w/the Russian side lever Crosman breeches.  Are they expensive?  You bet- but if you really want one, he's the only game in town.

Fuzzygrub:  I'm not too worried about the differences between a prod and disco, because I'm not using a gauge and I'm pretty sure I can modify the scope rail/trigger mounting ring for the shorter breech- I am concerned I'm losing over 1" from the cheek rest area though...  That might be a problem I can't fix.  I will mention it to him though, if I get a response.  I'm not sure how to fix the short breech problem though... 

Gent's, keep in mind I may end up having to make my own kit...  My "disco" is built from parts, and the breech is a side lever that fits a Mrod shroud.  There may be too many little variables to overcome to justify spending $350+ on a kit.  This query is really to see about the viability of the idea...

Breech height is 0.850 from the top of the tube to of the breech.
