Discovery riser questions

I'm new to the PCP game and have a Benjamin Discovery in .22
I've found breech risers for Crosmans, but not specifically for the disco. Is the Crosman steel breech the same as the one on a disco?
If not, any recommendations for a riser?
After installing a riser, how is the barrel fastened? It doesn't seem like a set screw in the receiver would be good enough to hold the barrel (since the bands wouldn't fit anymore).
The whole point in the exercise would be to install a full barrel shroud.
A lot of questions, I know, but I'm more of a straight to the point type of guy...

The breeches are the same fit-wise with one exception, the front hole placement for securing the breech to the air tube. The standard 2240 breech has the front screw visible just behind the back end of the barrel when the bolt is open, where the Disco screw location is farther rearward under the bolt. This is the reason a Disco hammer has to have the notch in it, to avoid hitting the screw. The disco config to me is a pain in the @@@ as you have to take apart alot more things to get the breech off. Also moving the small screw rearward provides less clamping force to the front of the breech making it easier to nudge if bumped. The Disco is often used with multiple barrel bands to help with this. Many folks will often add a 2nd barrel retaining screw to these breeches as well.
Baker airguns sells a 1/4" riser that will accommodate both breeches and I have seen aftermarket barrel bands for this as well, but do not remember where at the moment.
Hope this helps.

It doesn't seem like it would be worth the effort to modify the Disco (I have been down that rabbit hole before) when the Fortitude is going to be out in June. I preordered one from at the Crosman booth at the NRA convention last weekend at a significant discount. I don't know if the price was for all pre orders or just the convention.

FWIW: I'm not sure if 1/4" is enough for even a smaller diameter Prod style shroud. My experience on "long prod" projects, the small diameter shroud does not provide much, if any, sound abatement benefit over a LDC.
While I haven't done a riser for the steel breech, I did some for the Prod. You have to use a longer hammer pin to engage with the bolt. Hammer binding can occur, especially if using a stiff spring.
The new fortitude is using a new breech that won't bolt to a prod, maximus, or disco. It is using the larger diameter Mrod style shroud.

I have the spacer form Baker I referred to on my Disco and a 7/8" shroud fits fine even with the Ninja bottle hanging off the end of it.
