Lead bullets on condors

Hello, I´ve been modifying my 2 condors one is now a .30 and the other still a .25, I live in Mexico city and bullet molds are not easy to come by, the question is, can I use lead bullets without gas check on them? It seems to be relatively easy to make a bullet mold without gas checks but not shure if the bullets would work, any advice is welcomed

You will not need Gas Checks. Many of us use bullets designed for them, only because it acts a little like a boat tail bullet. But none use the actual gas checks, which are intended to keep hot powder charges from melting, or deforming the bullets base. Can't happen with air.

Great, I had the same idea but was not really sure. The .30 is a total surprise, noisy and powerful. I'll keep you informed
Thanks for you advise.

I hope all is well for you there. Can you not order a mold from NOE?

Hello, the city is still a little shaky, we had another small quake last saturday.... my side of the city is ok but other places have problems.
Our legislation is not really clear on bullet molds, theres a big chance they can be confiscated by custom officers.
In order to have fun I have to become creative, I managed to convert one condor to .30 and was able to get a mold for .30 bullets. The other is still .25, looking like crazy for a barrel but they are scarce and expensive. How I wish I could just mail order one like you...
I´m exploring (discoivering) my machinist abilities and having a lot of fun with an atlas 618 lathe and a Sieg x2 mill
Thanks for your help my friends.
