Best bang for the buck PCP under $700.00

LOL... I doubt that any of us are done buying/selling/trading guns. Least I hope I'm not because that would mean I'm probably not waking up tomorrow.The Sumatra can be had. That Condor you bought has already got the good stuff done.. IMO.. AND... just LOOK at it.. that's almost tent pitchin' stuff right there. Can't login and order that off the shelf.

In response to the "good stuff" , I'm assuming you're referring to power and accuracy .....I would wager that a stock Sumatra 2500 is on par with a condors power level and accuracy  both being stock....but I think where the Sumatra outshines the condors is the fact that it is a 6 shot revolver and let's not neglect to mention the oh so "KOOL" factor of having a lever action 

No NO NO , not comparing at all... If you look at the list of upgrades to the condor he bought you might see what I meant. Personally... I'd love to own a Sumatra but, unless I sell a bunch of my "keepers" I couldn't justify one... Same with tis Condor... I knew I couldn't have it so I pointed it out to the OP and he grabbed it.

Looking forward to some posts on that one. The original owner said he was fighting accuracy and suggested he may have bit off more than he could chew. From what I have learned about the PCP game... well heck, the air gun game collectively for that matter.. It really comes down to a balance of consistent fps, pellet type/weight/size along with a good barrel and the ability to bring all that together in a shooter. I don't have the experience or the tooling to tackle porting and the likes. I'm good to adjust a TSS or chop and crown a barrel on a lego gun. With all the upgrades that Condor has I think I would be better off to send it to a qualified tuner.

I won't know until I get several hundred rounds down range, sort some pellets, chrony etc
pellets just arrived but I have heavy winds so may do some indoor 15 meter test first

For Sub 700 guns I am going to have to put the BSA scorpion near the top.   Why?   A few reasons many might not have thought of.

Its durable.   The barrel is not shrouded so less to go wrong for POI.   
The stock is heavy synthetic, probably the best I have used on air gun with a nice rubber but pad.
Accurate as any out to 50 yards
weight is decent and is well balanced.

I've seen this gun drop from 4 feet up to a concrete floor several times and it did nothing to it.   Still shoots great.   
Had I done the same thing to my Daystate it would have been a mess.   I knew a guy that dropped his 2100 RAW from a similar height and the stock broke in half.  Ruined it.

The BSA is built to last and take abuse in the field.   None of my other air guns come close in this department.   Many are too delicate.
