What rings for Marauder with 50mm obj. Hawke Sidewinder?

I have a new .177 Marauder on the way and have a Hawke Sidwinder 3-12x50 which I have never before mounted. What hardware do I need to marry these to.  If it matters for clearance; I would like to use the rotory magazine for now. Thanks in advance.

The magazine will fit in regardless of the rings you use.
The clearance between the bell and the barrel is your concern.
I suspect you will need the high rings.

 OK, I will go with high as you suggested. How about this one? Vortex is supposed to make nice things. Also, I am borrowing a kit to lap them.  It says "Weaver or Picatinny" so that will work on the factory Marauder "Dovetail" right? Its $24.00 for two rings.

Picatinny rings will not fit on your Marauder without another adaptor.
This will make your scope even higher.
I use UTG/Leapers rings on everything.
They are the best deal for the money.

Torque the scope ring screws to 15 in/oz max. if you are wondering the torque specs for those rings, and I think the mount screws (dovetail/picatinny) if any are 30 in/oz max.... if quick mount "snug well"

Thank you. I was wondering that about the torque specs. The kit I am borrowing to lap them is the Wheeler one, and it come with a torque screwdriver. Do you guys even lap these that have a flexible tape/shim in them. Is that tape good enough to remove imperfections in alignment or is that tape for something totally different like eliminating scope slippage?

it's usually for slippage but you can use it for alignment if you need to, but with the Mrod you shouldn't have too, alignment should be fine, if it was a break barrel then you might need it for droop.
